What is Fabry Disease?

Fabry disease is a rare, genetic condition which is estimated to affect around 1 in 100,000 people.

Fabry patients lack an enzyme that's supposed to break down certain fats in the body.
As a result these fats continue to build up in body cells, causing damage to organs.

This leads to a range of symptoms, which vary from one person to another.
